Mission Statement

The Scotch Plains Business Improvement District (SPMC) strives to foster a successful and sustaining business environment through the participation and commitment of all of its members in partnership with each other and the Township to achieve harmony, goodwill, and prosperity.

SID is recognized by the IRS as a tax exempt 501(c)(4) organization and contributions to the SID are not deductible for tax purposes as a contribution, but may be deductible as a business or other expense.
